College Fund

At St. Columbanus' College, we are committed to providing an education that goes beyond the textbook. We strive to offer a rich, varied, and supportive environment where every child can discover their talents and passions.

While government funding covers the essentials of running the school, it is often the additional experiences - the field trips, the guest speakers, the extra resources - that spark a true love for learning. To help us bridge this gap and maintain a high standard of enrichment, we ask each family to make a contribution of £50 per year (£4.17 per month) per family to the College Fund.

How is the money used?  We want to be completely transparent: 100% of this fund is spent directly on our pupils. It allows us to provide the "extras" that the standard budget simply cannot cover. Your contribution helps to fund:

• Educational Materials: Purchasing specialised classroom equipment, art supplies and digital resources that enhance daily learning.

• Trips & Experiences:  Subsidising the cost of educational visits and cultural trips, ensuring these invaluable experiences remain viable for the school to run.

• Inclusion & Support:  Providing a safety net for disadvantaged members of our community.  This fund ensures that financial barriers never prevent a pupil from participating fully in school life, whether that means access to a specific trip or essential equipment.
