Sarah Brown ranked first in Northern Ireland

Year 13 pupil Sarah Brown has been ranked first out of all entrants for the GCSE Double Award ICT qualification. Her hard work and flair for ICT has been rewarded with two A*s. Notably, Sarah scored full marks in the examined component and her coursework was of an excellent standard.

This recent success comes on the back of outstanding achievements by Emma Young (placed 2^nd), Stuart Boyd (placed 1^st), Karl Cuthbert (Placed 1^st) and Steven Dargan (Placed 3^rd)in previous years.

The course required Sarah to use a range of software packages including Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. She was required to run a number of projects and showed excellent time management skills.

We wish Sarah continued success with her studies at A-Level. She is an inspiration to all pupils in relation to what can be accomplished through dedicated study.
